House System
Cardinal Mooney’s House System is designed to build community, foster school spirit, and give every student a place to be supported. Each student belongs to one of six Houses – Caritas, Fides, Gaudium, Lumen, Veritas, and Dignitas – bringing together students across all grade levels and backgrounds. Through Family Time periods, House meetings, and school-wide events, the House System creates opportunities for mentorship, leadership, and connection between students and faculty.
Throughout the year, Houses compete in friendly competitions, collaborate on service projects, and come together for major school traditions like tournaments, service drives, and themed events. Led by student Community Leaders, House Leaders, and Family Leaders, the House System emphasizes leadership development, service to others, and school spirit, while reinforcing Cardinal Mooney’s mission and values. The result is a stronger, more unified campus where every student has a home and a voice.
