2026-27 School Year

Thank you for your interest in Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School. Our applications for the 2026-2027 school year are now open. Below is a general timeline of what to expect in the admissions process.

All incoming freshmen must take the Scholastic High School Placement Test (HSPT). Click here to learn more.

Cougar Experience

Wednesday, January 14, 2026 | 9am-1:30 pm 

This is open to incoming 2026/2027 Freshmen students who attend area public or private schools or are homeschooled. Registration IS required.

Wednesday, January 21, 2026 | 9am-1:30 pm 

This is for current students of our partner schools (St. Martha’s, St. Mary’s, Incarnation, Epiphany, or St. Joseph’s). Registration is NOT required.

This event is in lieu of a traditional one-on-one shadow day. Please use the link below to register your child if they attend an area public or private school or are homeschooled. We look forward to hosting them on campus!

Scholarships for Incoming Freshmen

Cardinal Mooney High School will award scholarships based on placement test scores to the following:
  • Score in the top 3 in November Testing – receive a recurring scholarship of $2000 applied to for the student’s tuition for the 4 years at CMHS
  • Score in the top 90% in November Testing – receive a one-time $1500 scholarship applied to the freshman tuition
  • Score in the 80-90% in November Testing – receive a one-time $1000 scholarship applied to the freshman tuition
