In August Cardinal Mooney beat Bishop Verot 49-20. Cardinal Mooney and Bishop Verot have been rivals for a long time on the field. The Cougars travelled to Verot and shared a mass and a delicious team meal with them before the game.

In September the Cougars beat Lemon Bay 22-7. Running back Bryce Williams had over 100 rushing yards and carried the team to a great victory.

In early October, The Cougars travelled to St. Pete Catholic for a blowout win of  35-0. The offense was led by Jack and Sam Koscho, and the defense played great holding the St. Pete offense to zero points.
