Step 1:Placement Test – Saturday, January 5 (8:00 AM) – 9th grade only.
The registration sheet for the placement test is in this packet.
--This test will help determine the future course of study.
--Results will be distributed at open house or mailed to your home.

Step 2:Open House at CMHS – Sunday, February 3rd – 12:00-2:00:
--Meet our teachers, students and staff.
--Discuss academics and co-curricular programs.
--Become more familiar with the campus.
--Receive your placement test results (if available).

Step 3:Acceptance to CMHS (February):
--Letters of acceptance will be sent to your home.

Step 4:Parent Orientation Meeting (March 12, 2008 at 7:00) at CMHS:
--Parents will meet with the administration to discuss policies and placement procedures.

Step 5:Registration for classes (Week of March 31, 2008):
--Registration for classes at CMHS.
--Financial Aid packets and applications will be available at this time.
--Additional placement tests in Math, Science and/or Language may be necessary for some. You will be notified if additional testing is necessary.

Step 6:Welcome Class of 2012! -- August 2008

Shadowing:Students may shadow a current Cardinal Mooney student during a regular school day. Shadow days are on Monday through Thursday from 7:50-2:00 beginning on September 17 and ending on April 30. Arrangements for shadowing should be made at least a week in advance. Please call Assistant Principal, Mr. Robert Lees at 941-371-4917 Ext. 111 to arrange a date for shadowing.

Transfer Students:Students wishing to transfer into the 10th or 11th grade must supply an official transcript from their previous high school.
All students seeking financial aid must fill out the financial aid application. Applications will be available at the time of registration.
